David is the Renewable Energy Program Manager for the Georgia Energy Innovation Center. His background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Resources from Mississippi State University and nine years experience with the United States Department of Agriculture’s Forest Service. After completing his Master’s of Science in Public Policy with an environmental concentration from Georgia Tech, he worked with the Fulton County Environmental Division focusing on water quality issues, conservation, and environmental policy analysis. Following this experience, he served six years as the Project Officer for the Transportation and Biomass Programs for the Southeast Regional Office of the United States Department of Energy (DOE). While serving in that role, he managed the Clean Cities alternative fuel program for the nine-state region.
